Stanley was a Korean War veteran who attained the rank of staff sergeant, a graduate of Point Park College, a retired senior accountant postal employee with more than 37 years of service, a life member of the DAV and an honorary member of MOPH (Military Order of the Purple Heart). Beloved husband of Rosemary A. (Anuszkiewicz) Serowik. Devoted and loving father of Capt. Joseph John "J.J." (Kristi), Michael A. (Carmel) and Monica R. "Missie" Serowik.
