She also was predeceased by her grandparents, James and Rachel Groome, and Frank and Angelina Arrigo. Before retiring due to poor health, Brenda was employed in the human resources department of Scott Paper Co. in Buena. She was a graduate of Vineland High School Class of 1974. After high school, she was employed in the Cumberland County Surrogates Office. Brenda enjoyed vacationing in Sea Isle City.
She is survived by her mother, Jeanne (Arrigo) Groome; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela and Richard Schad of Marmora, and Patricia and Dominic Buirch of Upper Deerfield; one niece, Allison Schad; one nephew, Matthew Schad; and her beloved dog, Poochie.
Her funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, 1010 E. Landis Ave., Vineland, with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and again from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland.
